ODSACA SUPPLIES CONDOMS TO MDAs IN ONDO STATE

HIV/AIDS is a public health and development challenge that has ravaged countries and communities.  It is an infection that has no permanent cure yet.

Ondo State Agency for the Control of AIDS, a body saddled with the overall coordination of the State response to HIV/AIDS distributed 9,018 caplets of free condoms  to 32 MDAs in the course of the week for prevention of  HIV/STIs and unwanted pregnancies. Free condom service is therefore made available to all Civil Servants and their clients where they work.  The project is a novel initiative to address the non availability of condoms for the young persons (productive population) who are in dare need of it.

The major objective is to prevent new HIV infections in the Civil service and Ondo State in general.
